Patrika Aranyak welcomes distinctive voices and imaginative expression through poetry, fiction, literary essays and creative non-fiction in Hindi and English.
पत्रिका आरण्यक हिन्दी और अंग्रेज़ी में कविता, कथा-साहित्य, साहित्यिक निबंध तथा रचनात्मक कथेत्तर गद्य के माध्यम से विशिष्ट स्वरों और कल्पनाशील अभिव्यक्ति का स्वागत करती है।
General Guidelines
- Open submissions: Creative works are invited for forthcoming issues until the announced deadline or until sufficient quality submissions have been received, whichever is earlier.
- Submission method: Send the manuscript and author details by email to the address given at the end of this page.
- Response time: The editorial team normally aims to communicate its decision within four weeks. If no response is received after this period, the work may be treated as not selected for that cycle.
- Originality: Work previously published in print, online, on a website, blog or social media will not be considered.
- Simultaneous submissions: A work may be submitted elsewhere, but the author must inform the journal promptly if it is accepted by another publication.
- Submission limit: Submit only one work per category in a submission cycle. Up to three poems may be sent together in one document.
- Previous contributors: Authors previously published in the journal should mention this in their covering email.
- Original-language title: Give each work a title only in the language in which it was written. A translated title is not required.
सामान्य दिशानिर्देश
- रचनाएँ आमंत्रित: आगामी अंकों के लिए निर्धारित अंतिम तिथि तक अथवा पर्याप्त गुणवत्तापूर्ण रचनाएँ प्राप्त होने तक—जो पहले हो—प्रस्तुतियाँ स्वीकार की जाएँगी।
- प्रस्तुति विधि: रचना की फ़ाइल और रचनाकार का विवरण इस पृष्ठ के अंत में दिए गए ईमेल पते पर भेजें।
- प्रतिक्रिया समय: संपादकीय टीम सामान्यतः चार सप्ताह के भीतर निर्णय सूचित करने का प्रयास करती है। इस अवधि के बाद उत्तर न मिलने पर रचना को उस चक्र के लिए चयनित न माना जा सकता है।
- मौलिकता: मुद्रित, ऑनलाइन, वेबसाइट, ब्लॉग या सोशल मीडिया पर पहले प्रकाशित रचना पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
- समानांतर प्रस्तुति: रचना अन्यत्र भी भेजी जा सकती है, किन्तु कहीं और स्वीकृत होने पर पत्रिका को तुरंत सूचित करना आवश्यक है।
- प्रस्तुति सीमा: एक प्रस्तुति चक्र में प्रत्येक विधा की केवल एक रचना भेजें। अधिकतम तीन कविताएँ एक ही दस्तावेज़ में भेजी जा सकती हैं।
- पूर्व योगदानकर्ता: पत्रिका में पहले प्रकाशित रचनाकार अपने ईमेल में इसका उल्लेख करें।
- मूल भाषा में शीर्षक: प्रत्येक रचना का शीर्षक केवल उसी भाषा में दें जिसमें वह लिखी गई है। अनूदित शीर्षक देना आवश्यक नहीं है।
Ethics and Originality
- Every submission must be the author’s own original creation.
- Any use of generative AI, grammar, translation or other AI-assisted tools must be disclosed in the covering email.
- Work found to be AI-generated or substantially AI-created without disclosure will be rejected.
- Plagiarized, fabricated or unauthorized adapted content will be rejected and may make the contributor ineligible for future submissions.
- The author is responsible for ensuring that the submission does not infringe another person’s copyright, privacy or other rights.
नैतिकता एवं मौलिकता
- प्रत्येक प्रस्तुति रचनाकार की अपनी मौलिक रचना होनी चाहिए।
- जनरेटिव एआई, व्याकरण, अनुवाद या किसी अन्य एआई-सहायित उपकरण के उपयोग की जानकारी ईमेल में स्पष्ट रूप से दें।
- बिना जानकारी दिए एआई-जनित अथवा मुख्यतः एआई द्वारा निर्मित पाई गई रचना अस्वीकार कर दी जाएगी।
- साहित्यिक चोरी, मिथ्याकरण या बिना अनुमति के रूपांतरित सामग्री पाए जाने पर रचना अस्वीकार की जाएगी और रचनाकार को भविष्य की प्रस्तुतियों से वंचित किया जा सकता है।
- यह सुनिश्चित करना रचनाकार का दायित्व है कि रचना किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के कॉपीराइट, निजता या अन्य अधिकारों का उल्लंघन न करे।
Literary Forms and Recommended Length
Place all poems in a single document while preserving intentional line breaks and stanza spacing.
कविता: अधिकतम तीन कविताएँ एक दस्तावेज़ में भेजें तथा पंक्ति और छंद-विन्यास सुरक्षित रखें।Short stories and other original works of narrative fiction are welcome.
कथा-साहित्य: 2,000–5,000 शब्दों की कहानी अथवा अन्य मौलिक कथात्मक रचना।Literary essays, memoir, travel writing, satire and other creative non-fiction may be submitted.
निबंध एवं रचनात्मक कथेत्तर गद्य: 2,000–5,000 शब्द; साहित्यिक निबंध, संस्मरण, यात्रा-वृत्तांत, व्यंग्य आदि।Self-translations and translated works are welcome when the source, translator and permissions are clearly identified.
अनुवाद: मूल पाठ, अनूदित पाठ, अनुवादक तथा आवश्यक अनुमति का स्पष्ट विवरण दें।Where references or citations are necessary, use either MLA or Chicago style consistently.
जहाँ संदर्भ अथवा उद्धरण आवश्यक हों, वहाँ MLA या Chicago शैली में से किसी एक का पूरे पाठ में समान रूप से प्रयोग करें।

In the covering email, include the work’s title and category, language, author’s full name, contact details and a biography of about 50 words.
ईमेल में रचना का शीर्षक एवं विधा, भाषा, रचनाकार का पूरा नाम, संपर्क विवरण और लगभग 50 शब्दों का परिचय अलग से दें।
Editorial Policy and Selection
- Initial checkFile format, completeness, originality declaration and suitability are checked.
- Editorial readingThe work is considered for literary quality, originality, language, coherence and relevance to the journal.
- Revision, if requiredThe editorial team may suggest limited revisions in consultation with the author.
- Final decisionSelection and publication decisions rest with the editorial team and are communicated by email.
संपादकीय नीति एवं चयन
प्रारंभिक जाँच में फ़ाइल प्रारूप, पूर्णता, मौलिकता-घोषणा और उपयुक्तता देखी जाती है। इसके बाद रचना का मूल्यांकन साहित्यिक गुणवत्ता, मौलिकता, भाषा, सुसंगति और पत्रिका से उसकी प्रासंगिकता के आधार पर किया जाता है। आवश्यक होने पर रचनाकार से सीमित संशोधन का अनुरोध किया जा सकता है। चयन एवं प्रकाशन का अंतिम निर्णय संपादकीय टीम का होगा और ईमेल द्वारा सूचित किया जाएगा।
Rights and Permissions
The journal requests first electronic publication rights for one year from the date of publication. Rights then revert to the author. Any later republication should acknowledge first publication in Patrika Aranyak. The author must obtain permission for copyrighted text, translations, images or other material included in the work.
अधिकार एवं अनुमति
पत्रिका प्रकाशन की तिथि से एक वर्ष के लिए प्रथम इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्रकाशन अधिकार का अनुरोध करती है। इसके बाद अधिकार रचनाकार को वापस मिल जाते हैं। पुनर्प्रकाशन की स्थिति में पत्रिका आरण्यक में प्रथम प्रकाशन का उल्लेख किया जाए। रचना में प्रयुक्त कॉपीराइट पाठ, अनुवाद, चित्र या अन्य सामग्री की अनुमति प्राप्त करना रचनाकार का दायित्व है।
