This program is not about grades or stipends — it’s about learning, participation, and literary growth. 1️⃣ Creative Writing Intern Overview: For emerging writers who wish to explore creative expression and refine their craft under editorial guidance, and participate in creative writing workshops. Eligibility / Experience: Undergraduate or postgraduate students with an interest in literature, creative writing, or arts. Assigned Role: • Assist the creative editorial team. • Draft, edit, and proof short pieces for upcoming issues. • Participate in writing workshops or editorial discussions. Who Can Join: Students, amateur writers, or literature enthusiasts. Interests Expected: Creative curiosity, openness to feedback, and commitment to deadlines. Eligibility / Experience: Students with prior writing or editorial experience (e.g., college magazine, literary clubs), particularly those who have completed the Creative Writing Internship or participated in Patrika Aranyak workshops. Assigned Role: • Work alongside senior editors on issue planning. • Review and suggest edits for creative or research submissions. • Assist in layout, proofreading, and content preparation. Who Can Join: Aspiring editors, postgraduates, or those aiming for publishing or research careers. Interests Expected: Attention to detail, editorial discipline, strong communication skills. What You’ll Gain: Editorial credit, publishing insight, and mentorship in academic editing. 3️⃣ Mentee (Creative / Research Mentorship Track) Overview: A long-term mentorship for individuals who want consistent guidance in creative writing, research, or editorial skills.
