This section is dedicated to publishing original, rigorous, and insightful scholarly work and critical essays that contribute meaningfully to their respective fields. We seek submissions that demonstrate academic depth, analytical precision, and clarity of argument.
Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your paper.
General Policy
•
Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished work and must not be under consideration elsewhere. This includes pre-publication on academic repositories, websites, or personal blogs.

Exclusivity: Patrika Aranyak requires first electronic publication rights for one year from the date of publication. After that period, all rights revert to the author, provided subsequent publications acknowledge first publication in
Patrika Aranyak.
•
Peer Review: Patrika Aranyak is a refereed journal, so all manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewer feedback will form the basis of editorial decisions, which will be final.
•
Editorial Screening (Desk Review): Every submission first undergoes an initial editorial review to assess its scope, quality, and compliance with ethical and formatting standards. Manuscripts deemed unsuitable may be declined prior to external review.
•
Author Responsibilities: Authors are responsible for ensuring factual accuracy, obtaining permissions for reproduced materials, and maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. Any form of plagiarism, data falsification, or fabrication will lead to rejection.
•
Submission Limit: Only one manuscript per submission cycle is permitted.
Research Ethics and Integrity
Patrika Aranyak upholds the highest ethical standards in academic publishing. Authors are expected to comply with internationally recognized research integrity principles.

Plagiarism: Manuscripts with a similarity index above 10% (excluding references and quoted material) will not be accepted.
•
AI Tools: The use of AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, translation or paraphrasing software) must be explicitly disclosed in the acknowledgment or methodology section. Undisclosed use may result in rejection.
•
Data Fabrication / Falsification: Any form of manipulated, fabricated, or falsified data constitutes a serious ethical breach.
•
Translated or Adapted Material: Authors must ensure appropriate permissions for any translated or adapted content, and such material must be clearly acknowledged.
•
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or institutional conflicts of interest that could influence the research.
Scope of Submissions
The Research & Critical Analysis Section welcomes submissions from the fields of literature, language studies, cultural studies, philosophy, aesthetics, visual arts, and interdisciplinary humanities.
Submissions may include:

Research Articles (4,000–8,000 words):
Must present a clear thesis, structured methodology, critical engagement with scholarship, and a significant contribution to the field.

Critical Essays & Long-Form Reviews (2,000–5,000 words):
Should offer a compelling argument, fresh theoretical insight, or deep engagement with recent literary or cultural works.
•
Commentaries & Perspectives (1,000–2,500 words):
Shorter essays offering a focused argument, response to current academic debates, or a critical intervention on a contemporary issue.
Submission & Formatting Guidelines
To ensure consistency and clarity in publication, please follow the formatting rules below:

File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc / .docx)
2.
Language: English or Hindi
3.
Font:
- English – Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Hindi – Mangal or Nirmala UI, 12 pt
4.
Spacing & Margins: Double-line spacing; 1-inch margins on all sides
5.
Document Structure:
- Title Page
- Abstract (150–200 words)
- Keywords (4–6)
- Main Text (beginning on page 3)
- References

Abstract Language: The abstract and keywords must be provided in English.
7.
Citations: MLA (9th Edition) citation style must be used — one style must be followed consistently throughout the paper.
8.
Figures, Tables, and Images:
- Images should be in JPG or PNG format, minimum 300 DPI.
- Include descriptive captions and sources below each figure or table.
- Authors must obtain permission for any reproduced material.
9.
Author Details:
Bio details such as Title, Author Name, Affiliation, Email, and ORCID should be submitted separately. No personal information should appear in the manuscript.
10.
Anonymization:
For peer review, remove all personal identifiers (author name, institutional affiliation, acknowledgments) from the main manuscript.

Editorial Process & Peer Review
•
Initial Screening: All manuscripts are first assessed for thematic relevance, formatting, and ethical compliance.
•
Peer Review: Qualified reviewers evaluate submissions anonymously. The process typically takes 6–8 weeks.
•
Revisions: Authors receiving reviewer feedback may be invited to revise and resubmit their manuscripts within a specified timeframe. A point-by-point response to reviewer comments is expected.
•
Final Decision: Based on peer-review reports and editorial evaluation, the editorial team will communicate one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
Rights and Permissions
Patrika Aranyak requests first electronic publication rights for one year from the date of publication. Thereafter, all rights revert to the author. Subsequent publications must acknowledge first appearance in
Patrika Aranyak.
Authors are responsible for securing permission for any copyrighted text, images, or data included in their submissions.
